Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Toronto, Ontario location involves hands-on pet care, customer interaction, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-in/out procedures.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per standards.
- Recommend health/wellness solutions and sell merchandise/services.
- Ensure pet safety, handle sick/injured pets, maintain store cleanliness.
- Assist other departments and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Must have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hairy environments, and animal exposure.
