Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Toronto, Ontario store involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean environment. Ideal for animal lovers with flexible schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-in/out procedures.
- Recommend health/wellness solutions and sell merchandise/services.
- Ensure safe environment; transport sick/injured pets to vet if needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Seeking proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, flexible availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hairy environments, moderate-high noise, animal handling.
