Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Torrance, CA location, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role ensures positive experiences through professional bathing, safety standards, and salon operations, contributing to our mission of pet wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Maintain safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and uphold cleanliness.
- Recommend health solutions and merchandise to enhance pet care.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in pet environments with moderate noise and hair exposure.
