Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Truro, Nova Scotia location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and maintain a safe, clean environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with full training provided through PetSmart's Splash program.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-in/out procedures, and recommend health solutions.
- Ensure pet safety, report issues, and transport to vet if needed.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments as required.
- Uphold company policies while participating in team culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
