Role Overview

Our Professional Pet Bathers deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pet parents and their furry companions. This entry-level role combines hands-on pet care with customer engagement, store maintenance, and safety focus in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
• Recommend health/wellness products and services based on pet needs.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and ensure a safe environment for pets, associates, and customers.
• Identify and respond to sick/injured pets, including vet transport if required.
• Assist other departments and follow all company policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required – we'll train you! Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, organizational prowess, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), standing, stooping, and working in a wet, pet-hair-filled environment with moderate noise.
