Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering professional bath and brush services while upholding PetSmart's vision. Share responsibility for store cleanliness, pet safety, and recommending wellness solutions in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full grooming services including baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, manage reservations, and provide exceptional service.
- Ensure safe environment; report and transport sick/injured pets as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend products, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring pet handling passion, computer proficiency, pressure composure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to wet/hair-filled environments with animals.
