Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Tyler, Texas store, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering top-tier salon services while upholding safety and cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care, customer interaction, and opportunities to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person/phone/register.
- Ensure safe environments; report/transport sick/injured pets immediately.
- Maintain store cleanliness, recommend products/services, assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet passion, computer proficiency, pressure-handling ability, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet/hairry environments and moderate-high noise with live animals.
