Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and maintains safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with opportunities to advance in grooming and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide outstanding pet parent experiences in-person and via phone.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend wellness products based on pet needs.
- Ensure pet safety, respond to injuries, and assist across departments as needed.
- Uphold company policies while fostering a culture of recognition.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet passion, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Must handle physical demands: lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hairy environments, and moderate noise. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays essential.
