Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Victoria, BC location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and maintain a safe, clean environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand, walk, lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), work in wet/hairy environments with moderate to high noise and live animals. Depth perception required; accommodations available.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing per standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-in/out procedures.
- Recommend health/wellness solutions and sell merchandise/services.
- Ensure pet safety, transport sick pets to vet if needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Seek candidates with pet passion, computer proficiency, pressure-handling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Flexibility essential.
