Role Overview
PetSmart’s Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Victoria salon involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean, safe environment amid a dynamic pet retail setting.
Essential Physical Demands
Expect to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), stoop, kneel, and work in wet, noisy conditions with live animals. Depth perception and composure under pressure are key.
Key Responsibilities
Independently perform full bath/brush services per PetSmart standards; greet pet parents, handle check-ins/outs and reservations; recommend wellness solutions; ensure pet safety and immediate vet transport if needed; maintain salon/store cleanliness; assist other departments; follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—complete our Splash training. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, flexible availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, and strong communication. Passion for pets is essential.

- Maintain store cleanliness and recommend health/wellness solutions
