Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Waite Park, Minnesota location, you'll engage with pet parents and pets to deliver exceptional salon services. Uphold PetSmart's vision by providing positive experiences, ensuring pet safety, and recommending wellness solutions while maintaining store standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
• Ensure safe environment; identify and act on sick/injured pets, including vet transport.
• Maintain cleanliness, recommend merchandise/services, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, pet hair-filled environment with moderate noise and live animal exposure. Excellent communication essential.
