Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety/cleanliness standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with opportunities to advance in pet services.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide outstanding pet parent experiences in-person and via phone.
• Recommend wellness solutions, sell merchandise, and maintain salon/store cleanliness.
• Ensure pet safety, respond to injuries by transporting to vets, and assist other departments as needed.
• Follow all policies while participating in recognition programs.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet passion, customer service aptitude, physical stamina (lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk extensively), flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, computer skills, and composure under pressure. Strong communication and organizational abilities essential in a fast-paced, pet-filled setting with moderate noise and wet conditions.
