Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Waldorf salon involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and store support in a dynamic pet retail environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness, ensure pet safety, and report/transport sick pets as needed.
• Sell merchandise/services and assist other departments while following all policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet/hairy environments, moderate-high noise, and live animals. Depth perception and team lifting required.
