Role Overview

Our Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs, working in wet conditions with pets, and maintaining composure under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
• Ensure safe environments; transport sick pets to vets as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and recommend health/wellness solutions.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required – just a passion for pets! Successful candidates demonstrate computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to safety. Must stand, lift 50lbs+, and thrive in moderate-noise, pet-filled settings with occasional mechanical exposure.
