Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll engage pet parents, deliver exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and teeth cleaning, while upholding safety standards and store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with room to advance.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart Splash training and perform full bath/brush services independently.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions in-person and via phone.
- Maintain safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and recommend solutions.
- Ensure salon and store cleanliness; assist other departments.
- Follow all policies, sell merchandise, and participate in recognition culture.
Experience & Skills
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in computer applications and strong communication skills.
- Flexible schedule for evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, composure under pressure.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively, lift 50 lbs frequently/100+ lbs team lift, work in wet/hairy environments with moderate-high noise and live animals. Depth perception required.
