Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our West Covina salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with opportunities to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care.
- Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-in/out procedures, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain safe environments, report sick pets, and transport to vets if needed.
- Ensure store cleanliness and assist other departments.
- Drive sales through merchandise and service recommendations.
Experience & Skills
Required
- Pet handling comfort and safety focus.
- Flexible schedule for evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Strong communication, organization, and composure under pressure.
- Computer proficiency for reservations and checkouts.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively, lift 50+ lbs, work in wet/hairy environments with moderate-high noise and live animals. Depth perception required; accommodations available.
