Role Overview
As a Pet Bather at PetSmart in West Covina, California, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering exceptional salon services while upholding safety standards and store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Essential duties include completing Splash training, performing full bath/brush services and add-ons like nail trims and teeth brushing, managing check-in/out procedures, ensuring pet safety, recommending wellness solutions, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility, organizational skills, attention to safety, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
