Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our West Long Branch, NJ location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services while ensuring positive experiences for pet parents and their furry companions. This entry-level role emphasizes pet safety, customer engagement, and upholding PetSmart's vision of excellence in pet care.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per company standards.
• Greet pet parents, manage check-in/out, reservations, and provide wellness recommendations.
• Maintain salon cleanliness, ensure pet safety, and respond to sick/injured pets.
• Sell merchandise/services and assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
