Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Wheaton, IL salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to store operations for positive experiences every visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Ensure safe environment; transport sick pets to vet if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring pet handling comfort, customer service skills, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs. Need flexible availability, organizational prowess, communication excellence, and composure under pressure. Computer proficiency essential.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively, lift 50-100 lbs, work in wet/noisy environments with animals. Depth perception required.
