Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Woodhaven, Michigan store, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with opportunities to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and perform full bath/brush services independently.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
- Recommend wellness solutions, sell products/services, and maintain salon cleanliness.
- Ensure safe environment; respond to sick/injured pets with vet transport if needed.
- Assist other departments and follow all company policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and thrive in pet-filled, moderate-noise settings with wet/hair exposure.

Responsibilities
- Perform full bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards
- Manage pet parent check-in/out, reservations, and consultations
- Maintain salon cleanliness and recommend health/wellness products
- Ensure pet safety, identify sick/injured pets, and coordinate vet transport
- Drive sales of merchandise/services and assist other departments as needed
