Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean salon environment in a dynamic retail setting. Ideal for animal lovers seeking flexible hours and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend health/wellness solutions.
• Ensure pet safety, report issues, and transport to vet if needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments as required.
• Follow all policies, participate in recognition programs.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Successful candidates demonstrate pet affinity, customer service skills, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hairy environments, and animal exposure.
