Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Yonkers, NY location, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness while working flexibly across evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, manage reservations.
- Perform full menu of bath services per company standards.
- Ensure safe environment; transport sick pets to vet if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to wet environments, pet hair, and moderate noise. Love for animals essential.
