Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Ypsilanti, Michigan store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering salon services like baths, brushes, nail trims, and more. Uphold our vision of pet safety, store cleanliness, and exceptional customer experiences. This entry-level role offers flexibility and development in a fun, pet-loving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
• Perform full menu of bath/brush services per company standards.
• Recommend wellness solutions and sell merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure pet safety; respond to emergencies.
• Assist other departments and participate in our culture of Belonging.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and communication abilities. Be comfortable lifting 50+ lbs, working in wet/noisy environments with animals, and flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include standing, stooping, and team lifting.
