Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Yuma, Arizona location, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness while working flexibly across evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), work in wet environments with pet hair and moderate noise. Exposure to live animals is common; depth perception required.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Ensure safe environments and respond to pet health issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational skills, and strong communication. Passion for pets and flexibility essential. No prior experience needed—training provided.
