Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll engage pet parents, deliver exceptional salon services like baths, brushes, nail trims, and teeth brushing. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness while working flexibly across evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand, walk, lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), handle pets in wet, noisy environments with pet hair. Depth perception required; reasonable accommodations available.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Perform full menu of bathing services per PetSmart standards.
- Identify and address sick/injured pets, transport to vet if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational skills, and strong communication. Passion for pets, flexibility, and safety focus essential. No prior experience needed—training provided.
