Role Overview

As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist), you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering best-in-class salon services. Uphold company vision while sharing responsibility for cleanliness, pet health, and safety. This role offers flexibility and impact in a dynamic pet retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Recommend health/wellness solutions and sell merchandise/services to meet sales targets.
• Handle pet parent interactions: greetings, questions, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls.
• Maintain salon sanitation, humane conditions; perform daily/end-of-day cleaning.
• Respond to sick/injured pets, assist other departments, follow all policies.

Experience & Skills

Prior grooming experience required, or 6 months as Stylist in Training with PetSmart Salon Academy certification. Proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, strong communication. Physical demands: lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk, exposure to pets/noise/wet areas.
