Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. You'll perform grooming, maintain salon standards, promote sales, and prioritize pet health/safety in a dynamic retail setting. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential in this hands-on role.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, handle reservations, check-ins/outs, and reminder calls.
• Drive salon sales through recommendations and merchandise upsells to meet targets.
• Uphold cleanliness/sanitation via daily maintenance checklists; respond to pet health issues.
• Assist other departments and follow all company policies.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with Salon Academy certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational skills, strong communication, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and work in pet-heavy environments. Depth perception and flexibility are key.
