Role Overview
PetSmart Pet Stylists (Dog/Cat Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents. This full-time role in Bangor emphasizes grooming expertise, customer engagement, salon maintenance, and sales growth while prioritizing pet health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness needs, recommend services/products to boost sales targets.
- Handle reservations, check-ins/outs, reminder calls, and maintain accurate client records.
- Uphold salon cleanliness/sanitation; monitor pet health and transport sick pets to vets as needed.
- Assist other store areas, promote company culture, and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with Salon Academy certification. Must be computer-proficient, organized, communicative, and flexible for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, handling pets in a fast-paced, pet-hair-filled environment with moderate noise.
