Role Overview

As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in Bastrop, Texas, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. Uphold PetSmart's vision by maintaining cleanliness, safety, and sales excellence in a dynamic retail environment with live animals.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per standards.
• Consult with pet parents on needs, recommend wellness solutions, and upsell merchandise/services to meet sales goals.
• Handle check-ins/outs, reservations, reminder calls, and client records; greet and assist customers in-person/phone/register.
• Maintain salon sanitation via daily checklists; address sick/injured pets immediately, including vet transport.
• Flex to other departments, follow policies, and foster a culture of belonging.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with Salon Academy certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational detail, and strong communication. Physical demands: lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk extensively, work in wet/noisy/pet hair environments with depth perception.
