Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, engages with pet parents, and upholds the highest standards of pet health, safety, and salon cleanliness. This role combines hands-on pet care with customer service in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments
- Maintain salon sanitation and respond to pet health issues
- Drive salon sales through recommendations and promotions
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, and client communications
Experience & Skills
Prior grooming experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy is required. You'll need flexibility for evenings/weekends, physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs, strong communication, and composure in a fast-paced, pet-filled setting. Computer skills for records and safety focus are essential.
