Role Overview
PetSmart Pet Stylists (Dog/Cat Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. This role upholds company standards for pet health, safety, and salon excellence while contributing to sales goals and store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and client records.
- Maintain salon cleanliness and report pet health issues promptly.
- Promote services/merchandise to meet sales targets.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, scheduling flexibility, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
