Role Overview

As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Burlington, NC location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents alike. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness, pet health, and safety while driving sales and building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
• Consult with pet parents on health/wellness needs and recommend solutions.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, reminder calls, and client records.
• Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily/end-of-day cleaning, and ensure humane pet conditions.
• Drive salon sales through merchandising, upselling, and achieving targets.
• Respond to pet health issues and assist across departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

Prior grooming experience required, or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with successful Salon Academy completion and safety certification. Proficiency in computers, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, strong organization, communication, and composure under pressure essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
