Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) at our Cape Coral store, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering best-in-class salon services. Uphold our vision for pet health, safety, and positive experiences while sharing cleanliness responsibilities. This role offers flexibility across dog and cat grooming with room for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Recommend wellness solutions, greet clients, manage reservations, check-ins/outs, and reminder calls.
- Drive salon sales through merchandise promotion and rebooking to hit targets.
- Maintain impeccable salon hygiene via daily checklists; respond to pet health issues, including vet transport.
- Assist other departments and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as Stylist in Training with PetSmart Salon Academy certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair-filled, noisy environment with live animals.
