Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers best-in-class salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. You'll uphold our vision of pet health, safety, and satisfaction while driving salon success through exceptional grooming and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, recommend services/merchandise to meet sales goals.
• Handle salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, rebooking.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness, sanitation, and humane conditions; respond to pet health issues.
• Collaborate across departments and follow all policies for a safe, welcoming environment.

Experience & Skills

Prior grooming experience required, or 6 months as Stylist in Training with successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion and safety certification. Excel in high-pressure settings with strong organization, communication, and computer skills. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
