Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents. This role upholds cleanliness, safety, and company standards while driving sales and wellness recommendations in our Castleton store.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on health solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and rebookings.
• Promote merchandise/services to meet sales targets; handle reservations and reminder calls.
• Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily maintenance, and respond to pet health issues.
• Assist other departments and embody company values.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as Stylist in Training with PetSmart Salon Academy certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to wet/hair-filled environments, and animal handling.
