Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. You'll handle full grooming menus, maintain salon standards, and contribute to sales goals while prioritizing pet health and safety in our Chandler store.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute bath, brush, grooming, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, manage reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and client records.
• Promote salon sales, recommend merchandise, and achieve productivity targets.
• Uphold cleanliness and humane conditions; respond to pet health issues including vet transport.
• Assist other departments, participate in team culture, and adhere to all policies.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as Stylist in Training with PetSmart Salon Academy certification. Must have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, scheduling flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair-filled, noisy environment with live animals.
