Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This hands-on role upholds our vision of pet health, safety, and satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, sanitary care.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments.
- Drive salon sales through product recommendations and metrics achievement.
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and respond to pet health issues promptly.
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, phone reservations, and customer interactions.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must excel in computer use, stay composed under pressure, and prioritize safety. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in pet-heavy, noisy settings. Strong communication and organization are key.
