Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services while prioritizing pet health, safety, and positive pet parent experiences. This role upholds company standards in a fast-paced retail environment, sharing responsibility for salon cleanliness and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
- Engage pet parents to recommend wellness solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and drive salon sales.
- Maintain impeccable salon sanitation, perform daily maintenance, and ensure humane pet conditions.
- Identify and respond to sick/injured pets, assist other departments, and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to wet/noisy environments with animals.

Responsibilities
- Perform full grooming services including bath, brush, nail trims, and sanitary care

- Maintain salon cleanliness, sanitation, and pet safety standards
- Promote salon sales and achieve productivity targets
