Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. Uphold cleanliness, pet health, and safety while driving salon sales in Cincinnati, OH. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand, walk, lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), work in wet/hairy environments with moderate to high noise and live animals. Depth perception essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu per PetSmart standards.
- Consult pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook services.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, calls, and register transactions.
- Maintain salon hygiene via daily checklists; address sick pets immediately.
- Promote sales to meet targets; assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
- Prior grooming or PetSmart Salon Academy certification.
- Computer proficiency, composure under pressure.
- Strong organization, communication, safety focus.

Responsibilities
- Perform full grooming services including baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing
- Engage pet parents to recommend services and merchandise
- Manage salon check-in/out, reservations, and client records
- Maintain salon cleanliness, sanitation, and pet safety standards
- Assist with sales targets and work across departments as needed
