Role Overview

As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our City of Industry, CA location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness and contribute to sales goals in a dynamic pet retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and rebookings.
• Drive salon sales by recommending merchandise/services and achieving targets.
• Maintain sanitation, perform daily cleaning, and respond to pet health issues including vet transport.
• Assist other departments, follow policies, and foster a culture of recognition.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with successful Salon Academy completion. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to wet/hair-filled environments, and animal handling.
