Role Overview
PetSmart Pet Stylists (Dog/Cat Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents. This role upholds company standards for cleanliness, pet health, and safety while driving salon sales and customer satisfaction in our Conyers location.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, recommend services/merchandise to meet sales goals.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, reminder calls, and client records; greet and assist customers.
- Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily/end-of-day cleaning, ensure humane pet conditions.
- Respond to sick/injured pets, assist other departments, follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with successful Salon Academy completion/certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to wet/hair-filled environments, and animal handling.
