Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Corona, CA location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional customer experiences. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness and drive sales through expert recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
- Engage pet parents to recommend wellness solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and rebookings.
- Maintain salon sanitation via daily checklists; respond to pet health issues, including vet transport.
- Promote sales to meet targets; assist other departments and uphold company policies.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with Salon Academy certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to pets, hair, noise, and wet environments.
