Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Delavan, WI location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. This role combines technical grooming expertise with customer engagement and salon operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, recommend services/merchandise to meet sales goals.
- Manage salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, client records.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and humane conditions; respond to pet health issues immediately.
- Collaborate across departments and uphold company policies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training plus Salon Academy certification. Must excel in high-pressure environments, demonstrate organizational precision, communicate effectively, and handle physical demands like lifting 50+ lbs in a pet-filled, wet workspace. Flexible scheduling required.
