Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. You'll uphold our vision for pet health, safety, and satisfaction while driving salon success through expert grooming and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, recommend products/services to boost sales targets.
- Handle salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, rebooking.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and safety; perform daily/end-of-day maintenance.
- Respond to pet health issues, assist other departments, follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with Salon Academy certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to pets/noise/wet areas; reasonable accommodations available.
