Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in Dover Delaware you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats. Engage pet parents provide positive experiences and uphold PetSmart's vision for pet health safety and satisfaction in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Recommend wellness solutions sell merchandise to meet sales goals
- Handle pet parent interactions reservations check-in check-out and records
- Maintain salon cleanliness sanitation and humane pet conditions
- Respond to pet health issues assist departments and follow policies
Experience & Skills
Required Qualifications
- Prior grooming or PetSmart Salon Academy certification
- Computer proficiency strong communication organizational skills
- Flexibility for evenings weekends holidays ability to lift 50+ lbs
Physical Demands
Stand walk lift frequently in wet noisy environment with animals. Depth perception required moderate to high noise exposure.

- Identify sick injured pets take immediate action assist other departments
