Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. Uphold cleanliness, safety, and company standards while recommending wellness solutions. This dynamic role in our El Paso store combines hands-on pet care with customer engagement and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and reminder calls.
- Promote salon sales, merchandise, and services to meet targets.
- Maintain impeccable salon hygiene; respond to pet health issues immediately.
- Assist other departments and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Proficiency in computers, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise. Flexible scheduling mandatory.
