Role Overview
PetSmart Pet Stylists (Dog/Cat Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents. This role combines technical grooming expertise with customer service, salon operations, and sales to uphold our high standards of pet health, safety, and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebooking
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and client communications
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and pet safety
- Drive sales through product/service recommendations
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must excel in high-pressure environments, possess strong communication, organizational skills, and computer proficiency. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and handling live animals in a dynamic salon setting. Flexible scheduling required including evenings/weekends.
