Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Fayetteville, AR location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional customer experiences. This role combines technical grooming expertise with sales savvy and operational excellence in a fast-paced pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu including baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness needs, recommend solutions, and drive salon sales to meet targets.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, reminder calls, and maintain accurate client records.
- Uphold salon cleanliness and safety; respond immediately to sick/injured pets, including vet transport.
- Assist other departments and follow all company policies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training plus Salon Academy certification. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational precision, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in pet hair-filled, noisy environments with live animals.
