Role Overview

PetSmart Pet Stylists (Dog/Cat Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring pet health, safety, and satisfaction. This hands-on role combines technical grooming expertise with outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards
• Consult with pet parents on wellness needs and recommend solutions
• Handle salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, and rebooking
• Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and humane pet conditions
• Drive sales through merchandise and service promotions
• Respond to pet health issues and assist across departments

Experience & Skills

Requires prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must demonstrate computer skills, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility, organizational precision, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in pet-heavy environments.
