Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role upholds PetSmart's vision of pet health, safety, and satisfaction while driving salon success through expert grooming and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per company standards.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness needs, recommend services/products, and promote salon growth to meet sales targets.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, reminder calls, and client records; greet customers and manage in-person/phone interactions.
• Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and humane conditions; perform daily/end-of-day maintenance and respond to pet health issues.
• Assist other departments, participate in recognition culture, and adhere to all policies.

Experience & Skills

Seeking groomers with prior experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training plus Salon Academy certification. Must excel in computer use, stay composed under pressure, organize efficiently, communicate effectively, and lift 50+ lbs. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays required. Physical demands include standing, stooping, exposure to wet/hairy environments and moderate noise.
